Air Quality Test
- When should I test Air quality?
If you notice symptoms like allergies, respiratory issues, unusual odors or the other symptoms mentioned on PDF(Link Air Quality Test PDF here)
- How many areas should I test the Air Quality Test?
Test all affected spaces: living rooms, bedrooms, offices, kitchens. For rooms with obstructions or partitions, test individually.
- When should I choose the Surface Swab test and how many areas should I test ?
A sterile swab is used to wipe the surface. Test surfaces which show signs of contamination or Mold.
Water Quality Test
- When should I test water quality?
If you notice changes in taste, color, odor or the other symptoms mentioned on PDF(Link Water Quality Test PDF here)
- How many areas should I test for water?
- Villa: Test one area from the main water tank.
- Apartment: Test the most used or affected taps
- Which tap should I use for drinking water testing?
Use the kitchen tap or any source used for cooking or drinking.

Difference Between 1 Hour & 8 Hours Monitoring
1-Hour per Area Monitoring:
- Short-term snapshot of air quality in a particular area.
- Suitable for identifying immediate issues or spot-checking.
- Captures data for a limited period, providing an overview of the current air quality conditions.
- May not account for variations throughout the day, such as changes in pollutant levels due to different activities, HVAC operation, or outdoor influences.
8-Hour per Area Monitoring:
- Extended monitoring, capturing air quality data throughout the day or work shift.
- More likely to provide a detailed and accurate representation of daily air quality fluctuations.
- Helps identify long-term exposure risks and variations in pollutant levels over time.
- Ideal for environments where pollutants may fluctuate, giving a clearer picture of how air quality changes due to varying conditions, like occupancy levels or temperature changes.
In summary, the 1-hour option gives a quick assessment, while the 8-hour option provides a more comprehensive and detailed analysis of indoor air quality over a longer duration.
Device Coverage
The device can cover up to 3,000 m² as per standard. However, if there are wall obstructions, such as in individual rooms, separate placement may be required.
Air Plate Monitoring vs IAQ (1 Hour / 8 Hour)
Air Plate Monitoring
- The team places a sampler with a media plate in the area. After the sampling time, the plate is taken to the lab for analysis.
- It mainly checks microbiological parameters like TBC (Total Bacterial Count) and yeast & mold.
IAQ (1 Hour / 8 Hour)
- The team sets up an air monitoring device in the area and runs it continuously (1 or 8 hours) to capture air samples.
- This test covers both microbiological and chemical parameters.
Note:
If a customer books IAQ (1 Hour / 8 Hour), there’s no need for Air Plate Monitoring since IAQ already covers those parameters.
Air Plate Monitoring vs Surface Swab Test
Surface Swab Test
- This test collects samples directly from surfaces like walls, vents, furniture, or visible mold spots.
- It detects both live and dormant mold spores, making it more targeted. Results often show higher mold levels since it focuses on specific contaminated areas.
Air Plate Monitoring Test
- This measures mold spores present in the air.
- It helps assess the overall air quality and exposure risk, but may show lower counts if mold is limited to certain surfaces or not actively circulating.
IEQ Tests - Reports
- Do you provide recommendations after the Lab test ?
Yes, We have 2 options for you to help with understanding the reports better. While sharing the reports with you via email. You will have 2 options
Option 1:
This will redirect you to a webpage where you can compare your test results against our recommended values for each parameter included in your report.
If any parameter falls outside the recommended range, you will also find our suggested solutions, including both soft services and corrective actions, displayed on the same page for your reference.

This option will direct you to our AI-powered chatbot, which has been trained using insights and recommendations from our environmental experts.
Simply:
Click on the link, select the type of test you would like to understand, and copy and paste the parameters from your report. The chatbot will provide you with a personalized overview and tailored recommendations based on your results, helping you better understand your report.

Important Notes – Environmental Testing
Symptoms Not Listed in Report:
If a customer mentions symptoms that are not covered in the PDF, please check with the 2.0 Team for further assistance.
Scope of Lab Testing:
- Lab testing is limited to identifying whether the quality of air, water, or presence of mold is within acceptable standards or not.
- It does not determine the root cause of the issue.
- Based on the report, The Healthy Home will provide recommendations and next steps.
- Treatment of the recommendation services is not part of the Lab testing service.
Requests for Additional Tests:
If a customer requests tests not listed in the PDF, always confirm with the 2.0 Team on availability before committing.
Report Status & Follow-Up:
- Check the appointment date and verify if the ETA has passed
- If ETA has not passed, inform the customer to wait as per the timeline
- If ETA has passed:
Check Zoho → Deal → Attachments for uploaded reports
Check if the report email has already been sent
- If no report is found and no email has been sent, raise a ticket with the THH 2.0 Team immediately for follow-up
Legal Use of Reports:
If a customer mentions that the test/report is required for legal purposes, immediately reach out to the 2.0 Team for further handling.
